God Carriers...

GODS VESSEL SERIES - 3

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda, And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb, and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. [Luke 1:39-42]

And Mary arose... and went... with haste, into a city of Juda

By now, Mary was already carrying Jesus. She was bearing The Lord Jesus in her bosom. She carried the presence of God wholly within her, but she was not hypocritical about it. She didnt become proud because of that. Her carriage did not change. She didnt begin to compel all men to bow to her because she carried The Lord. She simply did all she had always done. The Bible says she went to the hill country with haste - maybe running like a small girl, she did not need a special bodyguard now because she was now "the favoured of The Lord". She didnt have to now begin to count her steps and begin to walk slowly because "anointing has come". She never allowed seeming spirituality or spiritual success to grow into her head and block her naturalness, she simply remained a young sister she had always been.

CARNAL SPIRITUALITY

Verse 40 says that she went into the house and saluted Elizabeth. She was the one who saluted others, and never waited - in spiritual pride - for everyone to salute her. When some men begin to get just a little anointing, oh, everybody in town will know, they become a small god that everyone must worship. They speak high and command submission out of men, they carnalize spiritual authority as if it were worldly imposition and status. Mary did not allow her head to swell because she now carried Jesus and the anointing, she simply remained a gentle submissive sister, even though she carried The fullness of the Lord Jesus Christ within her bosom.

Friend, how much of God do you carry presently that you have allowed it to get into your head? Because of little position in church, you now command obedience, respect and submission from everybody, thinking that is the way Christ did it. This is but a worldly method of leadership, which has infiltrated into the body of Christ. It does not bear even the slightest colour of heaven.

...when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb

GOD CARRIERS...

Mary carried Jesus, and as she saluted and bent to Elizabeth, we notice that the John in Elizabeth bowed to the Jesus in Mary. What a great lesson. Even though we carry Jesus, it is not a yardstick for pride. Some people say that if we do not exalt ourselves over men, those men will not respect the Christ in us. This is a doctrine from hell that tries to infuse pride as a Christian virtue. It is as we submit and bow in respect to others that the glory of Christ in and through us will be radiated for others to surrender to. Mary submitted to Elizabeth, and John through Elizabeth saw the presence of Jesus in her and responded with submission. Men will never respond to the Christ in us if they do not see Him by our submission and respect. Our pomposity, loudness and pride of religion never exalt Jesus, it only beclouds men from seeing the true Christ, if at all He is present in us.

...when Elisabeth heard...

SPIRITUAL COMMUNICATION.

The gesticulation and salutation of Mary, a woman who carried the full presence of Jesus, was heard by John, and it led John to bow to Jesus. As Mary spoke, even though she did not begin to prophesy, preach or speak Bible, she only greeted - maybe she said "good morning ma!", those ordinary words encapsulated the power of God that she carried, unto which John responded to in surrender. Those who carry God within them, every gesticulation they make is a means of releasing God upon men. A word spoken, a salutation said, a handshake, a simple greeting, even a look, the helm of their garments touching someone, a pat..., are all channels of releasing God and His convicting power. This is very instructive for me. I am noticing that the ministry that The Lord may be calling men unto, is not totally a ministry of speaking Bible alone. Of course, we need to speak about Jesus unto men, but beyond that, we need to be carriers of the divine presence of God wherever we may be going.

Divine ministry is more of "a life" than "a speech". In actual facts, what your life lacks, your mouth cannot preach. And if by hypocrisy you try to preach what is not your current spiritual experience, you will be speaking from mere studies, and never from life, hence, it will only be a mental exercise filled with much noise making, it will never impact men. Our lives have been designed by God to be dissipators to release divine treasures stored up in us to bless the lives of men. I will call this "spiritual communication". It is a communion of spirit with spirit. I may not particularly say a word, but I am releasing grace. I may say some words, and they may not necessarily be what we term "gospel or religious words", it may be a greeting, or just any of those regular daily words, yet, they are containers that carry the store of divine treasures that go forth to bless hearts.

It therefore strongly informs us that spiritual work or ministry is not necessarily that of a confined location called "church", neither is it that of a confined set of words that we call "the gospel". When my life is a store of the presence and the fullness of Christ, wherever I go, I am an ambassador of Christ on full time ministry for His glory. And whatever I say in wherever place, they are Gods instruments to dissipate His convicting power to reach lives. It is a wrong conception to think that full time ministry is ONLY that of a location called church, no, it is life itself wherever it is being lived.

Let no man compel a secondary school teacher to leave the classroom and enter into the church building in the name of entering into full time ministry, if it is not expressly stated by God. It must be very clear that the Lord has sent His vessels (the teachers) on a full time ministry into the classroom to carry about His presence right there. His lifestyle, his gesticulations, his teachings (even if he is teaching Geography or Mathematics, and not CRK), his communications, his breath..., are all means that The Lord will use to spiritually communicate His convicting presence unto men that he comes in contact with daily. The major concern of Gods children should be "how can I carry the presence of God in all His fullness daily without break?". Once this is achieved, we will have men on full time for Jesus in the classrooms, offices, markets, churches...everywhere. We will become men who are living only for Jesus and not for money or fame. It is the men who are full of the divine presence of God that truly are on full time ministry for Jesus 24 hours of everyday to radiate His beauty wherever they find themselves - whether in the classroom, office, market or church.

Is it not a pity that there are countless men confined in church or in one outreach or missionary duties, in whom the presence of God is so little, but they boast about saying they are in full time ministry?
As I teach Mathematics, I carry about the fullness of Christ, and a spiritual communication of the personality of Jesus unto men constantly goes on through me as I gesticulate, teach, relate or speak unto men. Men will see the visual Christ that has become flesh through me, and any day I have to tell them the secret of who I am, and I tell them that it is Jesus, they will immediately and wholeheartedly surrender to Jesus without much ado. This is even more effective than the clergy in so-called full time pulpit ministry, who is only concerned about church administration but has little impacts upon men.

Elisabeth became filled with the Holy Ghost, John became filled with the joy of The Lord because a woman, Mary, carrying Christ spoke. Mary was not speaking in an unknown tongues, she was not particularly preaching Bible, neither was she prophesying, she simply said her normal common greeting, which everybody says every day, but hers was suffused with the fullness of the Christ that she carried.

Wanted today are men and woman who carry the presence and fullness of God within them. They may not be men of great speeches, they may not be men of great education, wealth, charisma, beauty, elegance, fame or name. The world is in need of men, who, within their frame, is the fullness of Christ. These men will beget other men that will prophecy and speak with a loud voice.

...she spake out...

Mary may not be a woman of great speech, or eloquent preaching, she may not have charisma or sound education, but because she carried Jesus, she beget an Elisabeth who could speak with a very loud voice and prophecy. My greatest prayer is not for God to help me to speak eloquently unto men, I just need to carry God in my bosom and I will discover that through me, great men will be born who will speak and prophecy.
